Life is full of shit

what is happening...
I don't expect this happening when I was young..
Worrying about money..

I feel the stress..
Calculate my pay and the thingy I nid to pay off and basically I left with nothing..
Not only this month..feb also..march also..and not to mention april..
Guess I nid to push back my bangkok trip..

This is miserable. I dunno what's wrong with me. I keep thinking and thinking of way to make more money. Maybe to find a part-time job..
I just want to clear everything..yes everything..
By this rate, I'm going mad soon.

I used to be jobless for months and I'm not like this. I worry but not to this extend. I alway think there's alway a solution to everything but now..thing don't seem this way.
Its torturting me..

Wat's worse when u earn and pay off ur stuffs and left yourself with nothing??
Yes, mabbe a few months of all this shit and I can be back to normal..
But this few months are definitely a hard time for me.

Wanting to go MO, MoMo, ktv..and wat, no money mean I can't go anywhere..
Days when you don't even have bus fare to travel, hey, dat's hell to me.
Friends asked me out..and wat I said.. "I don't have cash, you guys go ahead."
Yes. I'm poor.

At my age, I earn little, on a new job, can't even support family abit, not even myself.
I don't want to think about all this, but I can't stop myself.
People at my age, some are married with a good career..wat about me?
A lump of shit indeed!

Life basically suck without money. I can't survive!!!
What am I in this state?
I have myself to blame...and no one else..
I'm trying to lead a brand new life now. Pls dun torture me any further!!!
Arrghhzzz...

Try spending less on wants. Surely you know the differences between needs and wants? :)

Mockingbird said...

Wants can wait. Needs have to be satisfied first :)

蛋蛋船到桥头自然值。sometimes i met situation like that too when i think i spend too much... first cut down from the wants then needs also can cut down... like transport.. i can walk a long way to save n treat it i'm exercising loh.. muahahhaa... sounds giam lah but at difficult times i'll do things like that when there's a need.. but of course walkable distance lah.. not ask u walk from home to orchard lah!! dandan, don't be so hard on yourself.

Never having enough money is a problem for almost everybody. No matter how much you make, it never seems to be enough.

You need to evaluate your situation and determine if your wages are decent. Do you have possibility for advancement?

Remember, a few months ago you were pretty excited about this job.

Paying off debts sucks. I know, I;ve been there. But, it has to be done. And, in future avoid getting in to debt. But it is so easy and tempting: buy a new stereo for only $30 a month, get a new computer for $75 per month - whatever. The amounts always seems small, but inthe end, they act like an anchor aorund your neck - always dragging you down.

Some simple rules to follow:
(1) pay yourself first - always save the same amount from your paycheck for yourself. Whether that is $20, $50, $100, or 5%, 10% of your pay. It doesn't matter, just put it away and forget about it (the easiest way is to put it into a locked investment for 3 months, 6 months or whatever - that way you won't be tempted to spend it).

(2) eliminate the most expensive debt first (the ones with the hisghest interest rate). If you have a credit card and are paying $50 a month in interest, wouldn't you rather have the $50 in your pocket?

(3) don't borrow money, don't go for easy payment plans - buy it only if you can pay for it. (exceptions might be a house and car - I certainly can't pay cash for those, although I wish I could) - but I won't borrow money to buy a TV or computer or take a holiday.

(4) have a budget. It is too easy to go shopping and not know how much you are spending. Make a grocery list - it is too easy to buy tempting stuff and then have it go rotten inteh fridge.

If you are going to do extra work just make sure you don't burn yourself out - I know I did this to myself and it took me a long time to recover.

There is no easy way to make money, but I Wwish you luck in finding something that (1) you enjoy doing, and (2) can give you extra money.

One thing I want to try, but have not found the time for is getting involved in some sort of business group. The idea is that you find a few people who are interested in making extra money (not necessarily the same way you do), starting a business, developing a product, whatever ...

You get together say once a month for breakfast, lunch, dinner, whatever ... and discuss your plans. You talk about what you want ot accomplish in the coming month. You talk about what you did the previous month. Basically, the idea is to find some people who share similar interests with you and who encourage you, support you, and be your peer pressure group to get things done.

"I have friends!" you might say. Well, yes, but your friends are for having fun with not doing business with (unless your friends are different from my friends). The goal is not to abandon your friends, but to find people who will provide you with the different support mechanism you need to get ahead in business.

Richard,
=)
Thanks so much...
I really get your points..and thanks for reminding me I was once excited abt my current job..

I kinda of get over the fact that I need to spend a few months of tough time before I could start saving for rainy days..

so I will be fine..
