Xmas Charm

Had the most wonderful dinner at Regent Hotel..Smoked salmon..cheesecakes..Tarts..Rum banana ice-cream..
Oh My God!! This is too yummyz..
Having fun exchanging Xmas Gifts!! And of coz, taking photos!! We're all camera freak!!
The thought of friends touched til tear, its such a memorial moment..touched by 'em..
Guess I won't forget this moment for life..
Didn't know exchanging could be so emotional til today..

My very 1st xmas gift, an aroma-therapy Set given by Dawn!! Its nice!!
Its look romantic to me..maybe due to the Pink Candles bah!! I tried, tested!!
Nice smell of Lavender..I guess she don't know I like Lavendar..
Like it!!

2nd Gift....
Given by my cute, funny, quarrelsome, 38 colleague, Christina..
She gave me a very very very very cute mouse rest!!
I still remember we did chat abt usual of mouse too much which caused my wrist skin to turn rough..amazingly, she still remember wat I said and got me a mouse rest!!
So sweet of her!!

A watch from my buddy!! A watch ley!! She told me she like the watch alot too..
I can only say, she's a watch freak!! She simply love watches!!

Ant & Grasshopper

Once upon a time,there lived an ant and a grasshopper.
The grasshopper does nothing else but jump around and play.
On the other hand, the ant is so hardworking, looking for food all day long and store them in it's nest.

Looking at his hardworking friend working so hard, the grasshopper ask,"Hey, Ant! U dun have to relax ah? Always busy one. Come and play with me lah. "

To which the ant replied, "I can't lah i have to store all these food.""Haiyah! Relax lah. Why u bother storing all these food? When u hungry den go find lah."

the grasshopper told the ant again."Eh,cannot lah. I have to standby for the coming winter season. Then I no need to panick mah. I think u oso must standby u know."

the ant telling his friend."Where got time.I go play better. U wanna store food u go ahead lah. I continue playing ok. bye!" And hop goes the grasshopper.
The Ant is a hardworking guy. oops i mean insect. Unlike the grasshopper who is so lazy. And so as days, weeks,months go by, the winter still has not come yet but the ant is still seen searching and storing food.

The two friends happen to meet again. "Hey Ant! U still haven't finished storing food ah?
Last time all the food all go where? So fast finish ah?" asked grasshopper.
"I got keep but all overdue liao. So cannot eat anymore. All because winter not here yet. Now i have to go and look for new food." sighed the ant."

But ant ah. U dun mind i ask ah. Did u ever have a thought that Singapore where got winter?" ask the grasshopper again.
"AHHHH????!!!!!" the ant was shocked!

The moral of the story is whatever u do better think properly 1st. Dun anyhow hantam! :)Sometimes we got too busy in life and following our routine too tightly but most importantly, work towards where you wanna go in your life, what is it that you want, what is it that you REALLY want, what's your dream, is what you are doing now moving towards your dream?

If it's not, dun just keep on working hard n keep on hantam only just because someone in your life told you that this is the way or because everyone is doing it !!
Working hard with no direction is useless.. focus in the direction of your life not your work but your life. Plan your life, Live life to the fullest !

Be strong, gal.

One of my close friend sms-ed me early in the morning about 3am plus.. I managed to see her sms when I woke up about 7am plus.

She asked me this, “How you manage to forget that boyfriend of yours when u guys already plan to get marry?” ...

Upon reading this, I know something must have happened to her. I immediately replied her sms asking her what happened. Well, like what I expected, they broke off. Reason; The boyfriend find my friend very fearful. He said he was afraid of every sentence he said would make her angry. Everything he did seem wrong.

My friend asked me this, “Will fear really make a person don’t love anymore?”
Yes was my answer.

Just like me, I cried almost everyday, every night when I just broke off with my boyfriend that time. But I started to realize I need “freedom” more. Its not because I don’t love him, but happiness is not there being with him. There’s no point dragging on. Incompatible is the word to use. I do believe, no matter how much you love someone, incompatible will still be the cause of a broken relationship. Now, we are still friends. Isn’t that a blessing?

I tried to comfort her. But I know, no matter how much I say, she won’t understand. She won’t just get over it by a few words of mine.
I know she needs time. Time will heal everything. This is my experience.

She said, “He told me before I’m the woman he love most. Why now he wanted to leave me?”
I guess all women will ponder on what our boyfriends told us during relationship and its hurtful when its turn out to be not.
They didn’t keep to their words? Some, yes, they did not. Some, they feel that loving someone doesn’t need to be together. Of course, there’s reason behind when they decided on this.

Sometimes love is like this. Its will not turn out the way you want to be.

Just like her, she planned to spend her life with him, yet he gave up on her.

Another friend of mine, love her boyfriend a lot, the boyfriend decide on a break off and had a new girlfriend shortly after her.
She cried. She recovered.
Now she can tell me this past of her laughing away.
“Time” is so amazing “medicine” that I must agreed.

Like me, once I took 2 years to forget someone.
But now, I can talk to him just like a normal friend.

I'm not strong, but I grow from experience. I let myself feel sad for a day and I would tell myself I must spend my next day happily. This is how I handle my bad mood day.

Now, I really wish she can understand and get over him soon. I want her to be the cheerful gal once again..

Dragon Boat

A fine sunny sunday today...
I woke up abt 7.30am preparing for my very 1st time experience, Dragon Boat!!!

We reached Kallang Mrt about 9.20am..
Walking like a zombie with a hungry stomach to the Kallang river..that's me...

It was so fun..row row row ur boat!!!
As a new-comer, they made it an effort to stop a few times for us to relaz..
New term I learnt. "Easy" mean "Stop".
Interesting..

And its til today den I know, they are so many people going for this sport.
Big Crowds!~
Almost like u r gg clubbing and saw those pple lining up outside DblO..

Ok..now to my "very" experience!
I was standing outside Girl Toilet waiting for my friends...
and usually, Boy and Girl toilet are next to next only..same goes for the toilet at Singapore Dragon Boat Association.
I was talking to my friend at the entrance den, when I heard scream from Boy toilet.
Human instinct, I turned my head and see wat happened.
It's pretty fine if I didn't turn.
Dunno was I lucky to see a guy naked or he was unlucky to let a stranger seen every part of him!!
Can u imagine dat? He was really totally naked!
When he saw me, he just used a mini-towel to cover it..coz I guess he only haf dat to cover himself.
Before I knew I saw something I shouldn't, I already heard millions of laughter!!

Worst Part, when we were all done, those guys were done too.
I think they recongised me.
The moment they saw me, they were already laughing at dat poor naked guy..making fun of him.
One of the guy, my friend find him cute!
He picked a flower and placed it on his ear..
To me, he was acting cute.
He's quite a joker actually...hidden his friend's slipper and dat friend intended to go home with one slipper thinking he lost the other one. In the end, dat joker had to go back and retrieve dat slipper. A bunch of cute young Jc boys.. How good to be young!

Hungry still I was..
We went beach Road for our lunch.
Nice nice de Beef Noodle~~
next time muz go there eat again..
Guess what!! Shopping Feast!! hahaha
I bought a pair of hmm...slipper? Huihui bought a bag, a very retro 3/4 trouser and the same slipper as mine!! It's so fun but tired ... especially Jj.. Look forward to next outing to dragon boat!!

Planning to go Regent for Christmas dinner buffet!! $39.90 per person.. And its a 2 for 1 deal!!
Sounded quite reasonable.. which mean 1 person costs abt $26.66666...
The thought of having Turkey..honey ham..yummyz...
Saliva drooling....

Think of it, just can't help it to feel so happy..

My kor called me the other day..
He gave me my gan-ma's hp number so dat I can call her to pick me up on my arrival on 23th..
Think of it, can't help to feel excited..

We had a short chat and I realised..its nearly 2 years I didn't go Ipoh and visit 'em..
Indeed, I miss 'em alot..
Think of the heart to heart chat session with my kor,
I can't help to recall the care & concern showered by him..

And of cos,
I miss dat place where I spent my sadness, happiness at..
Although sadness exist, at least I know my true feelings..
Happiness due to my kor..
A Kor who treat me well, nice, good, no matter wat others said abt me..
He's always there protecting me..

we're as close as siblings which lead to alot of gossip topics between us saying we were way too close as friends..
Eventually..we decided to stop all this nonsense and sworn ourselves as brother & sister..
A kor I never forget for life..

Still pondering what to buy..Cozzz....
We have a game of exchanging Xmas Gifts.

Game Rule & Condition:
-Names will be written on a piece of paper and throw into a bag for us to draw.
-We are not supposed to announce whose name we have drawn.
-If own name is being drawn, we will all re-draw.
-The gift shall be budget within $20.00

We have a total of 7 persons.
Out of 7, we have 2 guys..
Therefore, the chance of drawing a guy's name is not high..
And well...I strike the 4D..
Its alway been a headache task for me to buy gift for a guy.
What can I do..
Belt? Within $20? Impossible..
Wallet? No way..unless those road-side stall with no brand..
Shirt?? What kind of shirt cost less than $20?
Sickening rite?

If I have drawn a girl's name..
I can just pop into Gift Land or Mini Toons..and grab a cup? nice cute purse? A cushion where u can put on ur office seat? A nice key-chain? Earrings? Bracelet?
Too many to be listed..

Unlucky me is going shopping to hunt for gifts today..
Hope I can find something suitable for my this Lame cum Joker colleague...
